"QUANTUM SHOT" #301
Article by James Golbey, link
Anybody seen my red stapler?
The following article is co-written by James Golbey, from Dump Trumpet & Avi Abrams. "Dump Trumpet" is a daily compendium of cool links on art, funny stuff, some games and videos, which we find quite entertaining.
So now the office environment is cool, thanks to Ricky Gervais. What about those dull, grey pieces of corporate use which sometimes find their way into your jacket just as you are leaving work?
We have all seen that stuff - and the cutesy, fluffy rubbish that would look better in a Dora The Explorer pencil case; but what about some office stationery that bites...?

HAMSTER SHREDDER:
Although an art piece by Tom Ballhatchet, this is a working shredder (provided the hamster is working).

Speaking of hamsters, here's how to "modify" your little friend, using some handy office supplies:

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS PAPER CLIPS:

PENCIL VARIATIONS:
Your fingers getting twitchy?
This pencil will keep you busy:

From the same designer Bond Lieu comes pencil, measuring the length of the drawn line:
A couple of other weird pencils:
This one has deep existential meaning -

and this morbid one is actually made from the ashes of deceased person:

ANIME OFFICE SET:
Tape dispenser -
Eraser -
and the pencil sharpener. The last two items have been sold out. I wonder why.

Well, then... how about this one?

MONKEY OFFICE SET (TAPE DISPENSER, CARD HOLDER, PAPER KNIFE):

Also, the site that may cause some scratching of heads, and some... addictions:
VIRTUAL STAPLER:
(click this image to experience the "madness")
It's probably not as addictive as virtual BUBBLE WRAP popping (oops, I linked to it again). You can try the insane version, too.
