This Church Finally Means Business :)
We like this on so many levels... First, there is pretty cool gothic church structure to begin with; second - it's obviously pacifist, with "spread mercy, not war" idea. Third, it has the anti-"organized religion" connotations: do not force your beliefs on anybody. Behold,
"Church Tank" by Kris Kuksi:

If you have not seen phantasmagoric creations of Kris Kuksi before, you're in for a treat. Check out his page (some images are dark and may be nsfw)

The idea to combine tank with some kind of an altar seem to have occurred to various people. The folks at Blue Table Painting, led by Insidious created this conversion of Land Raider for Warhammer game.
The same idea's occurred to Wim Delvoye here, though it's a digger, not a tank:

Technological Forest
Here is another cool sculpture we've seen recently:
"Real Life Katamari" by Nancy Rubins -
Don't know what's "Katamari"?
Watch this video to discover:

Nancy Rubins is also responsible for these installations (mostly in Los Angeles):
"Airplane Parts"
"Pleasure Point" - katamari accumulation of canoes and boats.
